Currently, along with aluminum in construction, bronze is increasingly widely used. Bronze can be given certain, predetermined properties due to alloys with other metals. So, for example, flint bronze has high electrical conductivity and is great for the manufacture of telephone cables.

As for aluminum bronze, it looks incredibly similar to precious metal – gold, which makes it simply invaluable material for use for decorative purposes. There are many bronze alloys for special applications. So that to cast a figurine, you will need an alloy from zinc, tin and lead. For the manufacture of medals and mirrors, other bronze alloys are used. Today you can buy bronze for any applications.

A wide range of aluminum use in many areas of industry and economy is due to its unique properties, which allowed aluminum to take second place among the most popular metals. Aluminum excellently lends itself to forming, machining, casting. In addition, it is resistant to corrosion due to the formation of oxide films. Easy, not requiring coloring, economical, aluminum is indispensable in construction.

Aluminum itself is a very soft metal, therefore, aluminum alloys with other metals are used for industrial use:

• casting alloys are used mainly in mechanical engineering;

• deformable alloys, characterized by high plasticity and at the same time high strength, which allows them to be used for the manufacture of various kinds of supporting structures.

Although at low temperatures, aluminum alloys “age”, this only increases their strength. It is not surprising, therefore, that these materials are often used in the construction of buildings in the northern latitudes.
