Mobile banking of Uzbekistan: features and updates

Mobile applications have become a key channel of interaction between banks and customers in Uzbekistan. This article presents the results of a study of user reviews and the history of the development of mobile applications of Uzbek banks, conducted by USABILIYTLAB.

The purpose of the study is to identify customer satisfaction factors, key problems and trends in the development of digital banking in Uzbekistan.

Banking applications of Uzbekistan: market overview

As of 2024, there are 35 commercial banks operating in Uzbekistan. Almost all of them offer mobile applications for retail clients, allowing them to remotely perform basic financial transactions without visiting branches. Key trends include the mass introduction of online banking, remote identification of clients and the integration of national payment systems (Uzcard, Humo) into bank applications.

Along with others, these issues will be actively discussed in Tashkent on May 28-29, 2025 at the International PLUS-Forum Digital Uzbekistan.
