Automation methods for pumping installations

There are several ways to automate the operation of pumping installations when working on remote waterflower structures. Particular attention is deserved by wireless means using the time relay and pressure. The operation of this device is as follows. The upper water level in the water tank is controlled by a float valve, which covers the pressure pipeline when the water reaches the upper limit. This sharply increases the pressure of the pump, since the consumption becomes equal to zero. Relay (pressure or consumption), located at the pump, turns off the electric motor, and the inclusion will come from the time relay through a certain pause, regardless of the water level in the tower. The duration of the disconnected state is determined by the achievement of water of the lower level with the maximum water selection. This method of automation is also possible in the presence of a water selection between the pump and the tower. However, the presence of a float valve allows you to use this method only in insulated water tanks. In systems with shameless water towers, automation of pumping plants is carried out along the lower level of water in the tower. In this case, the size of the minimum pressure is determined using the pressure relay set by the pump. When the water decreases in the tower to the lower level, the relay gives a signal to turn on the pump electric motor. The time or consumption relay is turned off by the electric motor, regardless of the water level in the tower. Although this method is not applicable when there is an intermediate selection of water between the pump and the water tower, it is most appropriate, since it requires a smaller number of inclusions and can be used in the presence of defective water towers.
