From a hoe to a smart tractor
Today, the production of any product is surrounded by a cloud of technologies. Artificial intelligence, programming and genetics are becoming the main companions of the food industry and agriculture. And we are faced with proof of this every day — at breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Scientists construct such molecules in laboratories — they “assemble” the necessary DNA sequence, in which enzymes with the necessary properties are encrypted. At the same time, the structure of recombinant enzymes corresponds to their natural analogues – they are absolutely safe and do not worsen the taste or quality of the product.
And such innovations should not be feared – they are completely natural and logical. As the expert noted, the same Stone Age ended not because there were no more stones – new technologies simply appeared. And everything is arranged in the food industry in the same way.
