First of all, you need to decide on the type of wallpaper. Almost all types of wallpaper are suitable for gluing the drywall surface.

Before gluing wallpaper, drywall sheets are treated with putty. All joints, chips and gaps must be covered thoroughly so that they become flush with the rest of the surface. After drying the finish layer of putty, it must be wiped. However, you should not apply a lot of effort, because if you remove too much, then the drywall will “shine through”, and the putty procedure will have to be repeated.

In order for the joints to be even, they are sealed with a sickle – a painting grid.

If drywall is attached to the guides with the help of self -tapping screws, their heads must be equal to the surface, and again bended.

After the surface of the drywall is littered and polished, it must be primed. The primer will help that the glue is not absorbed into the surface of the drywall and the wallpaper will be glued tight. To achieve the best effect, the surface should be primed twice, be sure to wait until the final drying of the previous layer.

After the last applied layer of primer dries, you can start gluing wallpaper.
