Science does not stand still, new technologies and materials are constantly appearing. They are used in everyday life and various production industries, including in the field of construction and repair. One of the relatively new materials used for thermal insulation is the “isollat”. When creating this liquid insulation, nanotechnologies are used. It is known that the best thermal insulation properties are vacuum, which does not pass heat or cold. The basis of “isollat” (80 % of the volume) is ceramic and silicone thin -walled microspheres filled … with absolute void. The technology is modern and complex, but using the insulation is very simple. It looks like thick paint, which is easy to apply on an isolated area with an ordinary brush, roller, sprayer. The simplicity of use provides a significant decrease in the estimated cost of work. During the drying of liquid insulation, a thin polymer film is obtained, light, flexible, elastic and strong. With the help of “isollat” from the cold or, on the contrary, heat leaks can be protected: walls, roof, facade of the building, roof, internal walls, windows, concrete floors, pipes and pipelines (hot and cold water supply), steam pipelines, ducts (air conditioners, air ducts, ducts cooling systems), various containers, tanks, trailers, refrigerators, etc. D. The water base of the “isollat” is a guarantee of its compliance with fire safety standards. Special additives create an environment in which fungi and mold do not develop. At the same time, the use of liquid insulation does not threaten human and animal health in any way. On the surfaces treated with “isollat”, condensation is not formed. The material can be operated in wide temperature regime (from 60 degrees below zero to +250).
