Mechanical fastening methods: which one to choose

Thanks to these advantages, at present, more than 40% of all manufactured shoes are made by adhesive method. The adhesive method is even greater when repairing shoes.

With a wide introduction of adhesive repairs of shoes, a large role was played by the rapidly smittering glue of the Nithi-62 based on NARITA NT in combination with high-wings with kumarone resin.

The experimental chemical plant Nithib from year to year increases the production of this glue and currently supplies them all regions, edges and autonomous republics.

Starting from 1964., Nithib carried out a number of works that allowed the expansion of the scope of Nithi-62 glue. The possibility of applying Nithi-62 glue without thermal activation and without pressing was established, which allows the adhesive method of repair in small workshops. The possibility of preliminary application of NITHH-62 glue on the details of the bottom of the shoes was established. Details with a fifth tape made of Nithi-62 glue can be stored up to 3 months. This allows you to take up parts and preliminary application of adhesive film in centralized workshops, which creates the conditions for the mechanization of these operations, increases labor productivity when repairing shoes and improves the quality of repair.

In order to improve the service of the population, a wide network of workshops on the urgent shoe repair is currently being created. It turned out to be necessary to develop universal and rapidly dry glue for shoe repair in the presence of the customer.

To solve this problem, we tested new types of chloroprene rubber, as well as new resins and their combinations.
