All people sooner or later face the problem of repair, and it doesn’t matter where – in the apartment or in a private house, but still the correct selection of materials plays an important role. One of the most used is, of course, putty. This material is originally used in order to get rid of irregularities on the walls and prepare them for further repair work, whether painting, or wallpaper gluing, still need perfectly smooth walls. Today in the building materials market a huge amount of putty of different types is represented: starting, finish, special and decorative. It should be particularly considered what decorative putty is and why it is used. Decorative putty (sometimes it is also called textured putty) – is used to give the surface of the walls of various types of relief. The sizes of particles in these putty can differ significantly from each other, and which drawing you will receive as a result. Also, by adding dye to it, you can modify the color of the putty. You can purchase them in two forms: there is a dry that you will need to breed at home yourself, and there is also a ready to work, diluted. When buying this material, of course, you should pay attention not only to the price, but also to quality, because putty for walls from different manufacturers can differ greatly in quality. It is better to choose the material of foreign production, since imported putty, unfortunately, is much better than we have done. Also an important factor plays as the final result, of course, and its correct application, on which it depends on whether it falls off in your first months after the repair. And yet, do not forget to look at the expiration date of the material when buying, because it tends to lose its qualities over time.
