The main musical novelties of 2025 and show business news

Coldplay’s three-year Music of the Spheres World Tour is coming to an end; songs from their ninth (Music of the Spheres) and tenth (Moon Music) albums may not have wowed audiences, but their concerts with planet-shaped balloons, crazy masks and Willow Smith as support are still some of the best in the industry.

The tour with the unpronounceable name from our favorite ginger songwriter will feature tracks from all albums (all with “mathematical” names): in fact, they are indicated in the title. Don’t expect any big surprises (although, for example, Eminem took to the stage in 2023 to perform Lose Yourself and Stan with Sheeran), but there is plenty of British warmth and beautiful popular folk.

The king is dead, long live the king! Abel Tesfaye promised that he would record albums after Hurry Up Tomorrow under his own name, so he is burying The Weeknd project with pomp: the trilogy of After Hours, Dawn FM and Hurry Up Tomorrow will not only be performed in the largest stadiums in the USA and Canada, but will also become the soundtrack of a feature film (with Barry Keoghan and Jenna Ortega) based on the latest album.
